I am a mother of two, I love spending time with my family, I like walking, swimming, watching films and doing puzzles. I am a very experienced and competent support worker, have been working in the healthcare industry for over seventeen years, reliable, gentle by nature, patient, understanding and empathetic. Always work according to the client’s care plan, medication, adhering to good practice, health and safety guidelines. Excellent record-keeping skills, also technical smart gadgets, Manual handling trained to use a variety of lifting equipment and mobility aids. Always supporting to encourage the independence level of the service user. Skilled in a wide range of personal care tasks, as well as domestic duties, such as cleaning, shopping, taking the client to appointments, meetings and social events. Particularly experienced with the elderly and people with dementia, learning disabilities(more experienced in) mental health and autism. I always want to make a big difference improving people’s lives, as well as providing them encouragement and emotional support that they may need to remain living independently.
